Nicole started with Gold Star about 2 years ago competing in walk trot and she loved it. Her horse of choice for jumping in Xena and they look forward to Gold Star every year! Xena and Nicole did not really have any jumping experience until they started going to the Gold Star shows and since then they have steadily improved their skills.
It has always been a positive experience for them and we look forward to many more years of fun!
Thanks for making this such a positive experience for my daughter and our horse. Keep up the good work. |

Darian, Amanda, Celina, Makenna, and Casey write: We were so happy when we recived all these ribbons!!! As our instructor said "We killed 'em" haha. We are the ones who ride the paint horse with almost no tail, named Anything Goes. The almost black thoroughbred named, Willie 'B' Good, the bay paint named, Rotten to the Core, and the black paint that looks like a quarter horse named, Ace of Spaids. We look forward to our next show at gold star!!! |

Hello, this is me, Christine Davault (age doesn't matter) :o) and Rio (Desert Rio's Fate), 12 yrs old. This was our 1st Gold Star show AND 1st hunter/jumper show on February 28, 2009 in Scottsdale. We won Champion in the Low children's~A/A hunter/jumper division. 2'3" ~ 2'6". I am so proud of Rio. I've had him for 10 yrs and we just started showing. This is Ernesto, a 2 year old Percheron cross who got his first blue ribbon at the October 12, 2008 Goldstar Horse Show in the walk-trot division. This was his first show away from home and he handled it like a gold star!
The people at the show running the entry booth and the gate were better than fantastic – As a recent transplant from IL to AZ it was such a special treat to go to a horse show where people look out for each other, they lend a helping hand and congratulate one another on a job well done. Ernesto will be attending all of the Goldstar shows as his career progresses, it’s such a pleasant (and affordable!) way to go.
Thanks so much, Kate and Ernesto |
