Gold Star encourages all participants to Pre-Enter at least by the day before the show - and the show would know how may entries there would be in each class and then could have estimated times for your class.

With all entries on the day of the show, Management has no idea how "big or small" the show will be.

If we would know how many entries in each class, if a large show, we could add a second ring and no one would have to show in the dark.

Rules and General Information
Each class is $19.00. If entry form mailed in 3 days before the show, classes are $17.00.
Food and beverages will be on the show grounds.
Hard hats and boots are mandatory. Chaps are permitted.
The use of martingales is prohibited in any Under Saddle class. USEF (US Equestrian Federation) rules will be followed regarding tack and equipment for horses entered in the show. Gold Star will however, allow wraps, bandages, and bell boots. Should rider choose to show using non-conventional hunter tack & equipment, at the discretion of the judge, ride will be considered a schooling round and subsequently will not be judges.
Schooling rounds will be permitted (time allowing; at the discretion of the show management) at the completion of the class.
Trophy and ribbon will be awarded for 1st place. Ribbons are awarded for 2nd thru 6th places.
Gold Star management reserves the right to refuse any entries to the show at its sole discretion.
Classes with 1 entry will be cancelled—Refund or you may use for schooling round.
Four entries per class are required to fill a division. Champion and Reserve Champion will only be awarded when divisions are full.
Fee for “returned checks” will be $25.00. Second offenders: Entries will be refused by check—have CASH ONLY.
If you pre-enter and can not attend, there is no penalty. Your check and entries will be returned. This is a Gold Star policy.
You will definitely NOT get a number unless all entry blanks are signed properly, and an open signed check is attached. Fill out check when you have finished showing.
For $1.00 each show, we keep track of your points for year-end awards; for Show Champion & Reserve, there is no charge.

  • Pre-entries MUST be received three days before show date.

  • The Arizona Horse Lover’s Park Rule:
    All riders must pick up and dispose of your “horse droppings” in the waste containers provided for you. (Please bring shovel). If this rules is not followed, the show will be charged for cleaning up. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
